Seoul has four distinct seasons. Summers are hot and humid, with a rainy season that usually arrives in late June and July. Winters are cold and dry. Spring and autumn sit between them, mild and changeable.
Visitors come to DayBeau Gangnam in all of them. The treatment itself is planned around your skin, your schedule, and your goals. But the days around it — the aftercare you keep, the plans you make in the city — are lived in a particular season, and each season makes some instructions easier to keep and others harder.
This piece is not a seasonal skincare routine. It is about how the season you travel in shapes the care around a treatment.
The treatment, its intensity, and the number of sessions are set by your skin condition. What the season changes is the setting in which you carry out the aftercare: how strong the sun is when you leave the clinic, how inviting a sauna is on a cold evening, how dry the air is in your hotel room.
Those details are worth raising in your Personal Consultant Session, because they shape which instructions will matter most during your stay.
Spring and summer bring long, bright days, and much of a visit to Seoul is spent outdoors — palaces, markets, the paths along the river.
After laser treatment, sun protection and hydration are the two constants of aftercare. Results vary, and pigmentation can recur with sun exposure and individual factors, so sun protection and maintenance matter. After K-Premium Lifting, avoid sun exposure for about one week, along with excessive heat such as saunas and hot baths, alcohol, and strong physical stimulation. After treatments such as Thermage FLX or Sofwave, the aftercare guidance you receive covers hydration and sun protection.
Where you can, it helps to place the most outdoor-heavy days of a trip before treatment rather than straight after it, and to carry shade with you — a hat, a parasol — on the days that follow.
Heat is the instruction that crosses seasons. In summer it comes from the weather and from exercise; in winter, from Seoul's saunas and jjimjilbang bathhouses, which are part of many trips to the city.
After Botox, avoid heat — saunas, jjimjilbang, warm compresses, and RF treatments — as well as strenuous exercise and alcohol for one week; massaging the treated area is not recommended. After skin boosters and Rejuran Healer, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas, and massaging the treated area for one week. After filler, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and saunas for three to five days.
If you want to cool the skin, a light cold compress is fine after Botox, and a cold compress is fine after heat-based device treatments if needed.
If a sauna is on your list, the simplest plan is to go before your treatment, not after.
Winter air in Seoul is cold and dry outdoors, and heated rooms can feel dry indoors too.
When tightness and dehydration are themselves the concern, that is the ground skin boosters cover: hyaluronic acid and other hydrating, nourishing ingredients placed into the dermis, aimed at moisture and radiance. There isn't one water glow — some products are hydration-focused, others firmness- or radiance-focused — so the product is selected for your concern. Hydration and glow vary by individual.
For skin that is sensitive and dry, Medical Skincare includes programs that are not injections. Exuviance PHA Water-Tox, for example, is a topical glow peel that gently exfoliates and hydrates, and is especially suited to sensitive, dry skin. Rejuran Healer also has a line, HB+, that adds hyaluronic acid for dry skin needing both recovery and hydration.
After skin boosters, face washing and makeup can resume from the next day. Injection marks and minor papules may last up to about two weeks with Water Glow boosters, and up to about a week with Rejuran or Re2O, depending on skin condition.
The planning rule does not change with the season. Flight timing depends on the type of treatment and how your recovery is going. Tell us your departure date before you book, and your doctor will set the treatment order and the interval before your flight.
Tell us, too, what the trip holds. A summer itinerary of hiking and outdoor markets, or a winter one built around bathhouses, changes which aftercare instructions will matter most, and that is easier to plan before the treatment day than after it.
Same-day treatment is possible for many procedures when your schedule is limited, subject to your Personal Consultant Session and the Doctor's Treatment Design. Medical Skincare, with minimal downtime for most programs, can also serve as a final-day refresh before you fly home.
Care continues after you leave. Aftercare guidance follows in your language through the channel you use — WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat, or KakaoTalk — with follow-up check-ins and video consultations if needed.
If blisters, severe pain, fever, or changes in skin color appear within a few days after treatment, contact DayBeau right away — call +82-2-2138-2225 or message us on KakaoTalk. If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, or notice changes in your vision, seek care immediately at the nearest medical facility (emergency room). General inquiries are answered within one business day.
In the Personal Consultant Session, a consultant reviews your concerns, your goals, and your travel schedule. In the Doctor's Treatment Design, your doctor sets the treatment and its order around your skin condition.
The season enters that conversation as context: the setting in which your aftercare has to be kept. Tell us when you are coming and what your days in Seoul will hold, and the plan is made to fit both.
