It delivers ultrasound energy through applicators with focal depths of 1.5, 3.0, and 4.5 mm (the manufacturer's specification) to coagulate tissue. In Korea it is approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) as a focused ultrasound stimulator system whose approved purpose is brow lifting.

Some conditions mean the treatment may not be suitable — for example, pregnancy or breastfeeding, a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, filler or a metal implant in the treatment area, a wound, infection, or active skin inflammation in the area, a bleeding disorder, a malignant tumor, or a tendency to form keloids. The details differ by device, so please tell us your full medical history before treatment; your doctor decides whether the treatment can go ahead. After treatment, avoid excessive heat (sauna, hot baths), alcohol, strong physical stimulation, and sun exposure for about one week. Yes. Depending on your skin condition, lifting devices can be combined with skin boosters, collagen boosters, or Rejuran in the same plan. This allows elasticity, skin texture, and hydration to be addressed together. The order and interval between treatments depend on the treatment area and the combination, and your doctor decides them. CoolSoniq is not performed over an area where filler has been injected.
